I-5, SR 169, and Other Skagit Roads Close for Maintenance

Starting Monday, Aug. 10, the northbound I-5 off-ramp to Southcenter Parkway will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Aug. 14 for maintenance, per WSDOT. The southbound off-ramp will remain open.

SR 169 will close both directions for 35 days beginning Aug. 17 between Southeast 332nd Street and Plass Road near Jones Lake for fish barrier removal. Local access and business access along SR 169 will remain open during the closure.

WSDOT notes detours will be signed for all closures. The fish barrier removal project on SR 169 is expected to end on Sept. 21, 2026.
