SR 9 Fish Passage Work Continues in Skagit Valley

SR 9 near Kalloch Road (MP 59) will remain reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic through Sept. 14 for fish passage construction, according to WSDOT. The work, which began Aug. 3, includes a bypass road and is expected to cause delays in the area.

Northbound and southbound traffic will alternate daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays near Mount Vernon Big Lake Road (MP 49) through Sept. 3 for the same project. WSDOT notes delays are expected during these closures.
