πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Starting Monday, Aug. 17, both directions of State Route 169 will close between Southeast 332nd Street and Plass Road near Jones Lake for 35 days to remove a fish barrier. The closure, effective through Sept. 21, includes signed detours for passenger and freight vehicles.

US 2 west of Cashmere will see single-lane closures in both directions Mondays through Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. until mid-to-late September for paving work. A separate closure on US 12 over I-5 will occur nightly from Aug. 10 to Aug. 20 for bridge repairs, with a detour using I-5 and SR 508.

Residents should expect delays on I-5 southbound from Aug. 16 to Aug. 18 for paving work between Barnes Drive and Exit 49, and on SR 9 south of Mount Vernon until Aug. 19 for a fish passage installation. The SR 161 closure between 28th Avenue South and Military Road South ended Monday morning.
